A collision led to Veneno Mandarin getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Teo Rius hit a great ball. Justo Emeterio's late challenge caught a Colón de Santa Fe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justo Emeterio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st match minute, Veneno Mandarin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Emeterio to maneuver through the defense. After 22 played minutes, Colón de Santa Fe's Silvio Belmiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Atilano Endira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Colón de Santa Fe reached it. 26 minutes into the match, Teo Rius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celso Garin. Colón de Santa Fe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teo Rius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Melquiades Maiorga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colón de Santa Fe's supporters rose to their feet, but Melquiades Maiorga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilano Endira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celso Garin made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Teo Rius sent off a good shot on target. Ulises Dolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Celso Garin was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Francisco Chago capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Francisco Chago really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Francisco Chago made the kick off in the second half. Dario Perrando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Atilano Endira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Veneno Mandarin's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Maiorga came free, but Atilano Endira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melquiades Maiorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celso Garin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Veneno Mandarin were the better team. Veneno Mandarin's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
