With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel Furman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Matreros Fútbol Club getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Adan Silban hit a great ball. If Isidro Kinsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laureano Loco in the 21st minute of play forced Matreros Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Evelio Jon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Rigoberto Guerau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Furman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Furman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Gaxan in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th match minute, Cuervos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafino Sayvion to maneuver through the defense. When Aaron Gaxan came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Matreros Fútbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aaron Gaxan couldn't finish the play. Ariel Oto hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Rigoberto Guerau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Furman having to interfere. Simon Favila might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evelio Jon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simon Favila ran back to his position shaking his head. Leonardo Chabier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Furman having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Cuervos's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Gaxan came free, but Samuel Furman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaspar Eutropio during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Teodosio Mercurio, 46 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The Cuervos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Matreros Fútbol Club were winning 0-1.
Cuervos's Simon Favila got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 57 minutes, Julian Jaume mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuervos and the Matreros Fútbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonardo Chabier in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel Furman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cuervos's Samuel Furman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Chabier in the 63rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Simon Favila managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuervos's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Favila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evelio Jon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serafino Sayvion's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evelio Jon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Julian Jaume got his second yellow card in the match during the 69th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 70th minute, Julian Jaume hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teodosio Mercurio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 79 minutes into the match, Simon Favila had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evelio Jon. Simon Favila scored 2-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evelio Jon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aaron Gaxan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aaron Gaxan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Samuel Furman firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 90th minute Leonardo Chabier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Furman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Chabier in the 97th minute of play forced Cuervos's goalkeeper Samuel Furman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cuervos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
