Niceto Maureo charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niceto Maureo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Gabba Gabba CARP booed when Cuervos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Maureo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Favila in the 8th minute of play forced Gabba Gabba CARP's goalkeeper Fernan Gonchan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cuervos were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Gabba Gabba CARP's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Teodosio Mercurio took the corner. Teodosio Mercurio made a great header on Cuervos's corner, it was just that Gabba Gabba CARP's Fernan Gonchan managed to reach the ball for a save. Simon Favila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernan Gonchan having to interfere. Laureano Loco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Laureano Loco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cuervos's zone, Norberto Henric stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel Furman came out of the goal and Norberto Henric tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Simon Favila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernan Gonchan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Favila, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Norberto Henric made the kick off in the second half. Teodosio Mercurio hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Fernan Gonchan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Loco, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Mauricio Roldanillo's late challenge caught a Cuervos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauricio Roldanillo helped the player get up and apologised. After 62 played minutes Gabba Gabba CARP got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Roldanillo. Serafino Sayvion's late challenge caught a Gabba Gabba CARP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafino Sayvion helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, Cuervos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafino Sayvion to maneuver through the defense. Teodosio Mercurio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodosio Mercurio scored 1-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernan Gonchan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Favila in the 93rd minute of play forced Gabba Gabba CARP's goalkeeper Fernan Gonchan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernan Gonchan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Favila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Simon Favila's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernan Gonchan was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cuervos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gabba Gabba CARP had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
