A collision led to Los caseros getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ruben Musko hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the game, Fedegar8's Alfredo Cordeal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elpidio Banegas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilio Mazuste in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leon Iturri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luis Ihazintu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Leon Iturri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elpidio Banegas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Cordeal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Cordeal in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elpidio Banegas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Fedegar8 getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Leonardo Florian hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Mazuste in the 38th minute of play forced Fedegar8's goalkeeper Leon Iturri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Luis Ihazintu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los caseros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Ihazintu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emilio Mazuste was the one to do the kick off. Romulo Loco kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Fedegar8's Alfredo Cordeal got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Fedegar8's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Mazuste came free, but Leon Iturri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los caseros's Elpidio Banegas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Los caseros from getting a goal against them. When Marco Soin fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fedegar8's protests and gave Marco Soin a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Fedegar8 getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Marco Soin hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Alfredo Cordeal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fedegar8's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Cordeal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elpidio Banegas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 69 played minutes, Fedegar8's Gerardo Berdoi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elpidio Banegas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fedegar8 reached it. After 70 played minutes Alfredo Cordeal rounded Los caseros's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Cirilo Ted kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Fedegar8's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Ihazintu came free, but Leon Iturri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Alfredo Cordeal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Banegas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Iturri came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Los caseros's Emilio Mazuste. But to his dismay, Emilio Mazuste quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
