The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Eustacio Martxel made a precise shot to the right of Luciano Sidro. Hacha y Tiza Fútbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of F.C. Titulares booed when Hacha y Tiza Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Claus didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bernardo Rolado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 9th play minutes Eustacio Martxel shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Luciano Sidro and just under the crossbar into goal. F.C. Titulares's Bernardo Rolado got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 17 minutes, Domingo Peter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. Titulares and the Hacha y Tiza Fútbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th minute, Domingo Peter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hacha y Tiza Fútbol Club's Luciano Sidro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Rolado in the 22nd minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Remigio Guib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute Eustacio Martxel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Sidro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Rolado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Sidro having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eustacio Martxel in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luciano Sidro saved Hacha y Tiza Fútbol Club from getting behind. Bernardo Rolado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Luciano Sidro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermengildo Mede struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Higinio Barrionuevo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hacha y Tiza Fútbol Club. If Eustacio Martxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 41 minutes into the match, Hacha y Tiza Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Martxel came free, but Luciano Sidro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermengildo Mede received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Higinio Barrionuevo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 played minutes F.C. Titulares got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Frutos. Hacha y Tiza Fútbol Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Blas Ekain in the 49th minute. The corner ended in Blas Ekain almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but F.C. Titulares's Higinio Barrionuevo did a great save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardo Rolado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Higinio Barrionuevo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Mede, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute, Anselmo Frutos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermengildo Mede fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Barrionuevo having to interfere. Higinio Barrionuevo came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Hacha y Tiza Fútbol Club's Hermengildo Mede. But to his dismay, Hermengildo Mede quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 75th minute, Hermengildo Mede got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Baldomero Santikurtz fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. Titulares's protests and gave Baldomero Santikurtz a yellow card for diving instead. Luciano Sidro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Rolado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, F.C. Titulares's Edelmiro Karlo got a free kick in the 87th minute. Eustacio Martxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Luciano Sidro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anselmo Frutos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Sidro having to interfere. Luciano Sidro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eustacio Martxel in the 94th minute. Anier Ugaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Sidro having to interfere. Eustacio Martxel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Luciano Sidro made a huge save. When the match was over F.C. Titulares could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hacha y Tiza Fútbol Club throughout the match.
