Andres Henric struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Domingos Belo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Domingos Belo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto Ramone in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maciej Żurawski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 15 played minutes, SSV Jahn Regensburg's Jonas Ishmael shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maciej Żurawski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SSV Jahn Regensburg reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Club de Avellaneda's zone, Jacinto Ramone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maciej Żurawski came out of the goal and Jacinto Ramone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Racing Club de Avellaneda getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Nemesio Cordareo hit a great ball. In the 18th minute of the match Jonas Ishmael sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maciej Żurawski skillfully saved the ball. In the 19thth minute of the game Jacinto Ramone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Racing Club de Avellaneda's Maciej Żurawski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 21 played minutes Racing Club de Avellaneda got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Eufemio. Jacinto Ramone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maciej Żurawski having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Reynaldo Eufemio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Jacinto Ramone's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maciej Żurawski was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 29th minute, Jonas Ishmael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Racing Club de Avellaneda's Ruperto Pelayo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 30th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Domingos Belo but with some difficulty. Domingos Belo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Johans in the 33rd minute of play. Racing Club de Avellaneda's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ruperto Pelayo in the 34th minute. After taking down the ball on Racing Club de Avellaneda's corner Ruperto Pelayo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Domingos Belo quite easily take care of the ball. After 36 played minutes SSV Jahn Regensburg got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Tonio. Enrique Padro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maciej Żurawski having to interfere.

Domingos Belo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Flores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nemesio Cordareo during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SSV Jahn Regensburg booed when Racing Club de Avellaneda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Cordareo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute Andres Henric shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Belo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingos Belo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. If Jacinto Ramone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingos Belo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eleuterio Flores went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Jacinto Ramone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Club de Avellaneda's zone, Domingo Mouricio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maciej Żurawski came out of the goal and Domingo Mouricio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacinto Ramone might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maciej Żurawski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jacinto Ramone ran back to his position shaking his head. 84 minutes into the match, SSV Jahn Regensburg's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Eufemio came free, but Domingos Belo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute Eleuterio Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Belo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When SSV Jahn Regensburg's Jacinto Ramone in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Racing Club de Avellaneda fans cheered their team off the field, for while SSV Jahn Regensburg had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
