Florencio Tabb's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ovidio Prejun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ovidio Prejun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Carmelo Valente was shown his second yellow card after 20 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Villa del Parque F.C booed when CADU de Zarate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Valente didn't get a good kick on the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Constantino Gartzea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Saturnino Nisio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Constantino Gartzea scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saturnino Nisio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Constantino Gartzea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Nisio having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Villa del Parque F.C's Gabriel Pereyra got a free kick in the 35th minute. CADU de Zarate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villa del Parque F.C the free kick. The tension between the CADU de Zarate and the Villa del Parque F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute of the match Fabricio Cordaryal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ovidio Prejun skillfully saved the ball. CADU de Zarate's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
