Ezequiel Demesio hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, SANTOS F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Bastian came free, but Eleuterio Gaizkine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eleuterio Gaizkine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, one of Parque Chacabuco FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Parque Chacabuco FC. 29 minutes into the match, Sebastian Abreu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eleuterio Gaizkine. SANTOS F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Abreu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Eleuterio Gaizkine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Abreu in the 34th minute of play. Eleuterio Gaizkine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Umea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 44 played minutes, Parque Chacabuco FC's Emiliano Iban shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eleuterio Gaizkine came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Parque Chacabuco FC reached it. Sebastian Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Gaizkine having to interfere.
