Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gustavo Astigar made the kick off which started today's match. Gustavo Astigar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Ruben Sugoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Eutropio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Filiberto Argi made a huge save. In the 8th minute Gustavo Astigar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Sugoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruben Sugoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kenny Bell went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Aznar in the 13th minute of play forced CF Talleres de Cba's goalkeeper Filiberto Argi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, CF Talleres de Cba's goalkeeper Filiberto Argi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliseo Eutropio. In the 17th minute, Valentin Galindo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A River Plate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 20th minute, Eliseo Eutropio made a precise shot to the right of Filiberto Argi. CF Talleres de Cba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Sergio Aznar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filiberto Argi came out and tried to block the shot, but Sergio Aznar slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 33rd minute. After 39 played minutes Sergio Aznar rounded CF Talleres de Cba's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 5-1. Gustavo Astigar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

CF Talleres de Cba's Cecilio Balendin got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to C.A River Plate getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Felipe Sayvion hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Adolfo Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Eutropio in the 60th minute of play forced CF Talleres de Cba's goalkeeper Filiberto Argi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filiberto Argi came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by C.A River Plate's Sergio Aznar. But to his dismay, Sergio Aznar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Filiberto Argi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Aznar in the 66th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Valentin Galindo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filiberto Argi was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Filiberto Argi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79thth minute of the game Gustavo Astigar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A River Plate's Ruben Sugoi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Igor Estebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ruben Sugoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 83 played minutes C.A River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Galindo. Gustavo Astigar struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Ruben Sugoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CF Talleres de Cba. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentin Galindo during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 88 minutes into the game, Adolfo Torres was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A River Plate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CF Talleres de Cba the free kick. After a rather tough play, C.A River Plate's Adolfo Torres got a free kick in the 89th minute. Filiberto Argi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Aznar in the 91st minute of the match. If Eliseo Eutropio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. C.A River Plate were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of CF Talleres de Cba for a fine match.
