In the 14th minute, Evaristo Rito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnoldo Lorien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Gora in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Goku y los japoneses FC's Remigio Gora sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnoldo Lorien narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Canaya Fulbo Clú getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Gerardo Chinto hit a great ball. If Ciro Bautista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the game, one of Goku y los japoneses FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 37th minute of the match Arnaldo Valerio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnoldo Lorien showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Remigio Gora's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnoldo Lorien was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Canaya Fulbo Clú's Braulio Haitz got a free kick in the 39th minute. Gerardo Chinto hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Arnoldo Lorien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amancio Theobald, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 45 played minutes Canaya Fulbo Clú got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Nuñez. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ladislao Mannuel made a kick off. If Ladislao Mannuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. In the 61st minute Ciro Bautista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Ignazio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
