Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Adrian Gabrio started the match with the kick off. After 6th play minutes Saul Bilintx shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Orlando Duardo and just under the crossbar into goal. If Saul Bilintx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Riachuelo booed when Magdalena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Illan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Magdalena's zone, Saul Bilintx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Duardo came out of the goal and Saul Bilintx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Orlando Duardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Gabrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Guillermo Illan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Magdalena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Illan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adrian Gabrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Duardo having to interfere. Guillermo Illan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Freddy Crispo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Riachuelo got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Marquez. Guillermo Illan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Orlando Duardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riachuelo. The wind increased when Guillermo Illan made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artemio Demario in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freddy Crispo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guillermo Illan scored 1-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Freddy Crispo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Artemio Demario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Adrian Gabrio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Orlando Duardo, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Artemio Demario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magdalena's supporters rose to their feet, but Artemio Demario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Crispo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guillermo Illan in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddy Crispo saved Riachuelo from getting behind. Generoso Urtsua hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. When Magdalena's Artemio Demario in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Riachuelo's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Guillermo Illan managed to get in a good position for a shot. A beautiful save bye Riachuelo's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Magdalena getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Julio Celio hit a great ball. Artemio Demario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oscar Astudillo kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Riachuelo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
