River MdP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saul Bilintx was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Freddy Crispo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Freddy Crispo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Abeitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Cordarrel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Bilintx in the 15th minute of the match. Freddy Crispo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gualterio Abeitia's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Adrian Gabrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Cordarrel having to interfere. After having played for 21 minutes, Oscar Astudillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riachuelo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Astudillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Godofredo Ioritz hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Riachuelo's Adrian Gabrio got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Saul Bilintx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Gabrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Cordarrel having to interfere. Adrian Gabrio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Cordarrel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Saul Bilintx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Cordarrel having to interfere. Marcelo Cordarrel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Bilintx in the 38th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saul Bilintx in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Cordarrel prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrian Gabrio made a kick off. When Riachuelo's Adrian Gabrio in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye River MdP's goalie prevented a goal. 70 minutes into the match, River MdP's Gualterio Abeitia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Freddy Crispo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Saul Bilintx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Marcelo Cordarrel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Riachuelo's Saul Bilintx nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelo Cordarrel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ángel Labruna during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Freddy Crispo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
