Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Godfredo Montrell kicked off to start the match. Iruya's Fidel Eliazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Ubelteso in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute Gogo Ubelteso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Eliazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Iruya booed when CA RIVER PLATE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Lauren didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Damaso Ederono came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Iruya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damaso Ederono couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute, Benedicto Berdaitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fidel Eliazar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mario Jaen's late challenge caught a Iruya's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Jaen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, CA RIVER PLATE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Jaen to maneuver through the defense. Fidel Eliazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Lixandro, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Roman Inocente's late challenge caught a Iruya's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roman Inocente helped the player get up and apologised. Roman Inocente hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Godfredo Montrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godfredo Montrell in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paulino Ortzi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fidel Eliazar came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by CA RIVER PLATE's Gogo Ubelteso. But to his dismay, Gogo Ubelteso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Paulino Ortzi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Godfredo Montrell went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Enzo Lauren's late challenge caught a Iruya's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enzo Lauren helped the player get up and apologised. Enzo Lauren kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Iruya made a substitution. Celedonio Pedroso replaced Romeo Ticho. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gogo Ubelteso to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Iruya got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Pedroso. If Damaso Ederono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Gogo Ubelteso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fidel Eliazar. That made the score 1-3 in the 67 minute of play. Gogo Ubelteso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Eliazar having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Iruya's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Berdaitz came free, but Fidel Eliazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute of the match, Gogo Ubelteso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fidel Eliazar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 88 minutes into the match, CA RIVER PLATE's Diego Lixandro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fidel Eliazar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benedicto Berdaitz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fidel Eliazar came out and tried to block the shot, but Benedicto Berdaitz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 89th minute. After 93 played minutes Isaac Quintyn rounded Iruya's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-6. The Iruya supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CA RIVER PLATE's performance. The match ended with a win for CA RIVER PLATE.
