Basail F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Shelby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aquilino Delfino made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Donato Rencio sent off a good shot on target. Feliberto Javiero kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute Florentino Oxarra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Vela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Basail F.C.'s Thomas Shelby got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donato Rencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Delfino having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Donato Rencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Basail F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Donato Rencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquilino Delfino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santiago Marquess short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Jeronimo Vela to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to Basail F.C. getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Teofilo Galo hit a great ball. Ciriaco Txanton in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jeronimo Vela, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
