The tension between the MiRey and the Café Veloz FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, MiRey's Jonatan Firmo got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 14th match minute, MiRey was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Lauren to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, MiRey's Reynaldo Lauren seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Reynaldo Lauren the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MiRey protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Reynaldo Lauren had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in MiRey fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Café Veloz FC a penalty, 17 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Armando Ubendu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of MiRey's Florencio Txema. 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in MiRey's zone, Gonzalo Piearres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florencio Txema came out of the goal and Gonzalo Piearres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Romulo Gudesteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Ramone having to interfere. In the 32ndth minute of the game Dalmacio Tuste who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MiRey's Florencio Txema was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the match, MiRey's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Tuste came free, but Florencio Txema reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dalmacio Tuste received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Florencio Txema tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florencio Txema stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dalmacio Tuste's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Florencio Txema was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Dalmacio Tuste capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dalmacio Tuste really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
Romulo Gudesteo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Ceferino Ramone made a huge save. 55 minutes into the match, Dalmacio Tuste notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of MiRey's Florencio Txema. Florencio Txema was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonatan Firmo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. MiRey's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Rogelio Arnau hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. If Armando Ubendu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 69 minutes into the game, Dalmacio Tuste was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Café Veloz FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MiRey the free kick. Dalmacio Tuste hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Florencio Txema made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Piearres in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, MiRey's Luis Orixe got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Florencio Txema showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Lluques, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Café Veloz FC's Gogo Checa got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Dalmacio Tuste got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Gonzalo Piearres came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Café Veloz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Piearres couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute, Jonatan Firmo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ceferino Ramone, passed just outside the right post.
