Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anastasio Aimar took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 7th minute, Jonas Izel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonardo Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 16 minutes of play, Verdolaga's Nicolas Chano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nemesio Normando was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Nicolas Chano came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Verdolaga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Chano couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Gabriel Etxahun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sánchez's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Etxahun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siro Garaona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cleto Ortzi kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Miguel Llin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Siro Garaona. Verdolaga's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Agustin Urbes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Normando having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Nicolas Chano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sixto Cutberto took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Siro Garaona. Siro Garaona dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
With a little luck, Sánchez's Nemesio Normando got control of the ball when Martin Castulo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nemesio Normando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Chano in the 61st minute of play. After 69 minutes of play, Sánchez's Sixto Cutberto made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Siro Garaona was left in no man's land by his defense there! Miguel Llin, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Tiburcio Llorian came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Sánchez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiburcio Llorian couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the match, Nicolas Chano notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Sánchez's Nemesio Normando. Nemesio Normando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mateo Gar kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 85th minute Sixto Cutberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Garaona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Nicolas Chano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nemesio Normando was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. In the 90th minute, Leonardo Ramirez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A throw-in in the 94th minute of the game was made by Rafael Nastasio with Gabriel Etxahun as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Verdolaga's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
