Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Siro Garaona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Turi, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Cornelio Aballe stood somewhat misplaced when Nicolas Chano came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 8 minute. In the 14th minute, Nicolas Chano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Verdolaga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Defensa F.C's Cornelio Aballe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Castulo in the 17th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Abel Gil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Siro Garaona. Verdolaga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abel Gil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Cristofol during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Daniel Cristofol hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Siro Garaona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Gil in the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Verdolaga's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Turi came free, but Siro Garaona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Agustin Urbes during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Verdolaga's Agustin Urbes got a free kick in the 38th minute. Verdolaga's Siro Garaona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Gil in the 45th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Agustin Urbes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Turi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcos Turi was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Turi in the 52nd minute of play forced Verdolaga's goalkeeper Siro Garaona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Defensa F.C booed when Verdolaga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Castulo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Marcos Turi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Siro Garaona. Verdolaga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcos Turi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Daniel Cristofol was shown his second yellow card after 60 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Verdolaga booed when Defensa F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Cristofol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Ramirez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agustin Urbes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Aballe having to interfere. Abel Gil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Siro Garaona read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Abel Gil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Siro Garaona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute Nicolas Chano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Aballe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abel Gil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Siro Garaona having to make a save. Cornelio Aballe came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Verdolaga's Nicolas Chano. But to his dismay, Nicolas Chano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. The Verdolaga players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
