Concarán's Bartolo Frechoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Heriberto in the 8th minute of play. Erim Ispartalı's late challenge caught a Esrella Roja FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erim Ispartalı helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th match minute, Concarán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erim Ispartalı to maneuver through the defense. Dionisio Cefero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bartolo Frechoso having to make a save. Silverio Laurendi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulises Tiadoro in the 11th minute. After having played for 12 minutes, Ambrosio Elequemedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Concarán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ambrosio Elequemedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silverio Laurendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Elequemedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Dionisio Cefero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Frechoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Concarán's Ulises Tiadoro got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silverio Laurendi was a little too slow when Ambrosio Elequemedo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. Ambrosio Elequemedo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. Concarán's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience was convinced that Ulises Tiadoro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silverio Laurendi was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. 23 minutes into the match, Esrella Roja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Elequemedo came free, but Silverio Laurendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silverio Laurendi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Elequemedo in the 36th minute of play. A hard shot 38 in the game by Ulises Tiadoro from a close distance when the talented Silverio Laurendi managed to make a qualified save. Esrella Roja FC's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Ambrosio Elequemedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Concarán's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrosio Elequemedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silverio Laurendi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ambrosio Elequemedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Esrella Roja FC's Silverio Laurendi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Esrella Roja FC from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulises Tiadoro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Esrella Roja FC's goalkeeper Silverio Laurendi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dionisio Cefero was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 56th minute. Esrella Roja FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulises Tiadoro in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silverio Laurendi saved Esrella Roja FC from getting behind. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Ulises Tiadoro sped through Esrella Roja FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silverio Laurendi. After 83 minutes, Ulises Tiadoro made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Esrella Roja FC's Silverio Laurendi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute, Ambrosio Elequemedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silverio Laurendi was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0.
