Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ranquilón's Jacinto Mogel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Ranquilón's Yulian Borachev got a free kick in the 4th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eustacio Min in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Froila prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfredo Froila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Min, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredo Froila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Santos in the 10th minute of play. If Eustacio Min had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th minute, Martin Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martin Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Alfredo Froila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Martin Santos made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Froila. Ranquilón's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 24th match minute, Ranquilón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franco Spada to maneuver through the defense. After 26 minutes, Victorio Teyo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ranquilón and the Torres AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 26 played minutes Ranquilón got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Teyo. Alfredo Froila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Hotz in the 27th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Ranquilón got a freekick which was hit by Franco Spada. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Chayo during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ranquilón booed when Torres AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Chayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Torres AFC's Martin Santos got a free kick in the 37th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Ranquilón's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Hotz came free, but Alfredo Froila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 minutes of play Ranquilón's Victorio Teyo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Ranquilón getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Victorio Teyo hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Santos to make the kick off. Martin Santos hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Guillermo Fertus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacinto Mogel's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. The supporters of Torres AFC booed when Ranquilón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Cambranes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yulian Borachev kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Anibal Erramu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Everardo Cambranes during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tomas Lehoi, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Torres AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacinto Mogel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Rodrigo Romano charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigo Romano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rodrigo Romano hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Martin Santos struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Alfredo Froila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torres AFC. Franco Spada kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Tomas Lehoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 94 played minutes Ranquilón got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Cambranes. Torres AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
