Abelardo Jaume made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santo Santana in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Calchines AFC's Efrain Abreu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nemesio Heriberto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Clodoveo Jatsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaston Bilbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Heriberto having to interfere. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Real Santa Fe! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Santo Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Jaume having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Calchines AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! Gaston Bilbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Heriberto having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaston Bilbo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nemesio Heriberto. That made the score 2-2 in the 66 minute of play. Santo Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Jaume having to interfere. Isidoro Emenon hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Nemesio Heriberto acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 73rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Hector Chumo. A collision led to Real Santa Fe getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Isidoro Emenon hit a great ball. If Gaston Bilbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Gaston Bilbo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Efrain Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Calchines AFC's Nemesio Heriberto threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gaston Bilbo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 89 minutes, Santo Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Santa Fe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santo Santana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Efrain Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Nemesio Heriberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Clodoveo Jatsu came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Calchines AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clodoveo Jatsu couldn't finish the play. Calchines AFC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Real Santa Fe to leave the ground with a draw.
