The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Club Almagro's Raimundo Ferman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Efrain Fraco in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Esteban Nel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Gomezchingones's Anselmo Oliviero broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Club Almagro's Raimundo Ferman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Club Almagro from getting a goal against them. 41 minutes in the game, Venancio Gustau fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Raimundo Ferman having to interfere. Venancio Gustau in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Raimundo Ferman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matias Betadur to make the kick off. When Nunez Jorrin fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Almagro's protests and gave Nunez Jorrin a yellow card for diving instead. If Efrain Fraco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Matias Betadur took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Bernabe Ireno to make any attempt to save it. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gomezchingones's goalkeeper Bernabe Ireno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Matias Betadur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Bernabe Ireno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club Almagro walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
