Loncopué's Leonardo Ciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Lopez in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute Donato Perico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Hurko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonardo Ciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Loncopué's zone, Guaberto Gitano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Ciano came out of the goal and Guaberto Gitano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvio Frederico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Ciano having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Lopez in the 15th minute of play forced Loncopué's goalkeeper Leonardo Ciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Hurko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Gau, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th match minute, Loncopué was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Firmo to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Loncopué's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Lopez came free, but Leonardo Ciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Gau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38thth minute of the game Donato Perico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BomboneraFC's Eduardo Hurko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Fidel Senin fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BomboneraFC's protests and gave Fidel Senin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, BomboneraFC's Fidel Senin got a free kick in the 41st minute. Julian Gau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Loncopué's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Gartxot came free, but Leonardo Ciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Cesar Lopez notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Loncopué's Leonardo Ciano. Leonardo Ciano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesar Lopez to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Cesar Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cesar Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Loncopué's Julian Gau slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eduardo Hurko. That made the score 1-1 after 73 minutes of play. Leonardo Ciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guaberto Gitano in the 76th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Guaberto Gitano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonardo Ciano was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Julian Gau was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. Loncopué's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Eduardo Hurko didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 91st minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. In the 94th minute, Delmar Fernanco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
