In the 6th minute of the match, Benigno Abilio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eduardo Hurko saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 9 minutes into the game, BomboneraFC's Cesar Lopez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lázaro Lapurdi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Eduardo Hurko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Abilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atletico Wamyc's Alfredo Veronica slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eduardo Hurko. That made the score 1-1 after 28 minutes of play. BomboneraFC's Guaberto Gitano got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Eulalio Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Guaberto Gitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benigno Abilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benigno Abilio to strike the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Veronica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Eduardo Hurko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The throw-in from Martin Favila in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by BomboneraFC's Victoriano Gartxot. Alfredo Veronica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Eduardo Hurko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
