Mario Santiago made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Donato Behe sent off a good shot on target. Flavio Iraitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atilano Tono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Marin in the 15th minute of the match. Mario Santiago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Lidon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Javier Oinatz clashed with another player. He fell to the ground and was in great pain. It was obvious that he couldn't finish the game. After 20 minutes, Efrain Tirso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tumbaya and the Club Atlético Zuviría players grew even worse after the yellow card. Efrain Tirso kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Zuviría's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Marin came free, but Atilano Tono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pablo Tomi during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pablo Tomi hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the game, Donato Behe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mario Santiago. Donato Behe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 33 minutes of play, Club Atlético Zuviría's Donato Behe made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mario Santiago was left in no man's land by his defense there! Atilano Tono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Iraitz in the 37th minute of the match. The supporters of Club Atlético Zuviría booed when Tumbaya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Tomi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Flavio Iraitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Tirso in the 47th minute of play forced Club Atlético Zuviría's goalkeeper Atilano Tono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Octavio Marin to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Behe in the 59th minute of play forced Tumbaya's goalkeeper Mario Santiago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Elequemedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mario Santiago having to make a save. 66 minutes into the game, Gustavo Guillerme cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Mario Santiago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. During the 69th minute of the match Pablo Tomi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Pablo Tomi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 71st minute, Donato Behe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tumbaya's Efrain Tirso got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Efrain Tirso off the ground. After a rather tough play, Tumbaya's Efrain Tirso got a free kick in the 77th minute. If Flavio Iraitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Octavio Marin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Club Atlético Zuviría getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Nemesio Lidon hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tumbaya players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Atlético Zuviría.
