Antiguyo's Domingo Nisio got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Antiguyo's Pedro Eyague got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 38th minute, Pablo Tomi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led to Antiguyo's Teodoro Eliu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Venancio Leocadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Octavio Marin to make the kick off. In the 68th minute Venancio Leocadio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Santiago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tumbaya's Mario Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Leocadio in the 70th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Venancio Leocadio in the 73rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Patricio Milian kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Tumbaya's Mario Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Leocadio in the 78th minute of play. Mario Santiago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Leocadio in the 79th minute of play. Antiguyo's Nicasio Mark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Marin in the 82nd minute of play. Flavio Iraitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Nicasio Mark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Venancio Leocadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octavio Marin in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicasio Mark prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the Antiguyo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tumbaya.
