Marcial Dodorol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Pirmin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute Santos Gabon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Dodorol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inocencio Merexildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Pulares FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Fortun came free, but Americo Medina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aguadita AFC's Marcial Dodorol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Gabon in the 15th minute of play. Aguadita AFC's Marcial Dodorol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Aguadita AFC from getting a goal against them. After 17 played minutes Aguadita AFC got a freekick which was hit by Abel Emeterio. After a defensive mix-up in Aguadita AFC's zone, Santos Gabon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcial Dodorol came out of the goal and Santos Gabon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santos Gabon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcial Dodorol having to make a save. Marcial Dodorol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inocencio Merexildo in the 29th minute. Pulares FC's Americo Medina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hilario Fortun in the 31st minute of play. Aguadita AFC's Marcial Dodorol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Aguadita AFC from getting a goal against them. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Aguadita AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ciriaco Otsoa was slow to take the kick. During this time Pulares FC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Pulares FC's corner Ciriaco Otsoa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcial Dodorol quite easily take care of the ball. When Hilario Fortun came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Aguadita AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hilario Fortun couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inocencio Merexildo got free with Marcial Dodorol in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santos Gabon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Dodorol having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Epifanio Quico made the kick off in the second half. Filiberto Ofelio hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the match, Epifanio Quico dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Americo Medina, 0-1. Gregorio Gonzalez hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Inocencio Merexildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcial Dodorol having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Pulares FC's Santos Gabon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcial Dodorol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Americo Medina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Quico in the 71st minute of play. Santos Gabon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Inocencio Merexildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Santos Gabon notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Aguadita AFC's Marcial Dodorol. Marcial Dodorol was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A hard shot by Gregorio Gonzalez from long distance, 90 minutes into the match, got Americo Medina's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Pulares FC's Americo Medina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Pulares FC from getting a goal against them. Aguadita AFC's Hilario Fortun was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 93rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.
