Júlían Álvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Lizbeth having to interfere. The supporters of Cortaderas AFC booed when La Masía Fútbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Aritza didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cortaderas AFC's zone, Júlían Álvarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Lizbeth came out of the goal and Júlían Álvarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan Bålström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Roberto Lizbeth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Lizbeth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Júlían Álvarez went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 23 minutes into the match, Júlían Álvarez notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Cortaderas AFC's Roberto Lizbeth. Roberto Lizbeth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cortaderas AFC's Roberto Lizbeth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlían Álvarez in the 27th minute of play. Danilo Aritza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Roberto Lizbeth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Lizbeth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlían Álvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Roberto Lizbeth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Danilo Aritza went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. La Masía Fútbol's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Al Sjøholm in the 37th minute. The corner led to La Masía Fútbol's Danilo Aritza getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Júlían Álvarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half La Masía Fútbol were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aldo Vimaro was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Júlían Álvarez in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roberto Lizbeth saved Cortaderas AFC from getting behind. Al Sjøholm struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Roberto Lizbeth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Masía Fútbol. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Júlían Álvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Masía Fútbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlían Álvarez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Lizbeth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Júlían Álvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Júlían Álvarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as La Masía Fútbol's Al Sjøholm slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roberto Lizbeth. That made the score 0-6 after 64 minutes of play. In the 72ndth minute of the game Júlían Álvarez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cortaderas AFC's Roberto Lizbeth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Júlían Álvarez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Roberto Lizbeth skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Roberto Lizbeth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júlían Álvarez's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. After a rather tough play, Cortaderas AFC's Aldo Vimaro got a free kick in the 81st minute. Júlían Álvarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Roberto Lizbeth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The La Masía Fútbol fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when La Masía Fútbol's Júlían Álvarez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. La Masía Fútbol's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
