The referee showed Teodoro Gartzea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Teodoro Gartzea hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Ceferino Dodorol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Sol in the 13th minute of play. Fabricio Etxatxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Dodorol having to interfere. After 18 played minutes, Muñoz AFC's Victorio Pello shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eriberto Unax came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Muñoz AFC reached it. Ceferino Dodorol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Sol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 played minutes Muñoz AFC got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Gartzea. After 35 played minutes, Voluntad's Sebastian Eliazar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ceferino Dodorol came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. After 39 played minutes Muñoz AFC got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Gartzea. 47 minutes into the match, Muñoz AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Etxatxu came free, but Ceferino Dodorol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 69thth minute of the game Gilberto Rivas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Voluntad's Eriberto Unax was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Fidel Resto notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Voluntad's Eriberto Unax. Eriberto Unax was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Claudio Otsoko's late challenge caught a Muñoz AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudio Otsoko helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Voluntad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Bela to maneuver through the defense. Gilberto Rivas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 96 minutes of play Muñoz AFC's Teodoro Gartzea was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Sebastian Eliazar, 98 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
