Hipolito Ponciano made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Igor Mendez sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute, Macapillo's Nestor Cresitobalo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 24 minutes into the game, Piñero AFC's Patricio Iratze nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flavio Romildo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Patricio Iratze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patricio Iratze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Piñero AFC's Mario Gutxi in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Macapillo's goalie prevented a goal. 35 minutes into the match, Macapillo's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Gutxi came free, but Flavio Romildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Macapillo defense, Patricio Iratze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Romildo. The Macapillo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Romildo should have stopped the shot. Patricio Iratze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Mario Gutxi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Flavio Romildo was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Iratze in the 47th minute of play forced Macapillo's goalkeeper Flavio Romildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 minutes, Pastor Santana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piñero AFC and the Macapillo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Macapillo booed when Piñero AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute Nestor Cresitobalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Ponciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Iratze received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Flavio Romildo came out and tried to block the shot, but Patricio Iratze slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 71st minute. Macapillo's Flavio Romildo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Macapillo from getting a goal against them. In the 75th match minute, Piñero AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Santana to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Mendez in the 78th minute of play forced Piñero AFC's goalkeeper Hipolito Ponciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Mario Gutxi notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Macapillo's Flavio Romildo. Flavio Romildo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th minute, Paolo Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aristides Geofredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the game, Nestor Cresitobalo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Macapillo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piñero AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Macapillo's Nestor Cresitobalo got a free kick in the 91st minute. Piñero AFC's Prudencio Galoer shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 91st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Flavio Romildo but with some difficulty. Hipolito Ponciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Geofredo in the 93rd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Macapillo's goalkeeper Flavio Romildo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Gutxi. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Maximo Seme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Piñero AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximo Seme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Romildo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Piñero AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Macapillo throughout the match.
