Ermegildo Selmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaspar Blasi in the 11th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Gaspar Blasi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ermegildo Selmo. Gaspar Blasi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Henrico Ortega kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ermegildo Selmo. That made the score 3-0 in the 22 minute of play. With his leg Ermegildo Selmo managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Universitario de Tandil's Henrico Ortega fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ermegildo Selmo didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Universitario de Tandil's Henrico Ortega shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Henrico Ortega who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tolosa's Ermegildo Selmo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fidel Kimetz kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 36th match minute, Tolosa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Socorro to maneuver through the defense. Ermegildo Selmo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 36th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Augusto Acuña. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Henrico Ortega sped through Tolosa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ermegildo Selmo. Thanks to some nice moves Henrico Ortega could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Ermegildo Selmo however easily saved by the left post. Ermegildo Selmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Blasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zeledon Socorro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Henrico Ortega had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ermegildo Selmo. Tolosa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henrico Ortega was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Ermegildo Selmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrico Ortega, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Bernabe Cordarin hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Einar Põld took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ermegildo Selmo. Tolosa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrico Ortega in the 68th minute of play forced Tolosa's goalkeeper Ermegildo Selmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Gaspar Blasi put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ermegildo Selmo. 74 minutes into the match, Tolosa's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Blasi came free, but Ermegildo Selmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermegildo Selmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrico Ortega in the 78th minute of play. Einar Põld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Henrico Ortega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Tolosa's Martin Lorenz got a free kick in the 90th minute. Maik Sawitzki might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ermegildo Selmo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maik Sawitzki ran back to his position shaking his head. Ermegildo Selmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maik Sawitzki, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Universitario de Tandil fully deserved thier win.
