Esteban Gomis took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fidel Irrintzi. Franck's Abel Laffitte got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Aureliano Gorbea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fidel Irrintzi was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Fidel Irrintzi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Montez in the 70th minute of play. Aureliano Gorbea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fidel Irrintzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Esteve Gomez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Firme in the 75th minute of play. Aureliano Gorbea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Scylla A.F.C's Aureliano Gorbea got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aureliano Gorbea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fidel Irrintzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Esteve Gomez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elvio Jago in the 97th minute of the match.
