After a rather tough play, Castillo's Celestino Su got a free kick in the 24th minute. Gervasio Ascencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Donio in the 34th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Castillo's zone, Victorio Madaleno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorio Madaleno really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximo Donio made a kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Zapiola AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty!
