Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Victorio Madaleno got the match started through his kick off. Rafael Chico had several of the Zapiola AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 7 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Gervasio Ascencio as he didn't even see the shot coming. After having played for 11 minutes, Feliberto Laurentzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliberto Laurentzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Natalio Columbo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Victorio Vincente. Salto's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 20 minutes, Agustin Restu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zapiola AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustin Restu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Salto's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Restu came free, but Victorio Vincente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Zapiola AFC's Vladimiro Papo got a free kick in the 25th minute. After 26 played minutes Fernando Marquez scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Gervasio Ascencio who was too lazy, 2-0. Victorio Vincente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Papo in the 30th minute of play. After 32 minutes, Rogelio Mateo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salto and the Zapiola AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 32 played minutes Salto got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Mateo. Reynaldo Admon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Victorio Vincente. Salto's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Feliberto Laurentzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustin Restu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st match minute, Salto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Osmundo to maneuver through the defense. Victorio Madaleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Victorio Vincente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Chico to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Alfonso Richie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zapiola AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salto the free kick. Salto's Victorio Vincente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Salto from getting a goal against them. Victorio Vincente made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustin Restu in the 58th minute. In the 63rd minute, Victorio Madaleno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victorio Vincente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Madaleno in the 66th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Victorio Madaleno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victorio Vincente was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zapiola AFC's goalkeeper Gervasio Ascencio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rafael Chico struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Gervasio Ascencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Chico in the 74th minute of play forced Zapiola AFC's goalkeeper Gervasio Ascencio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogelio Mateo got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 76th match minute, Salto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Mateo to maneuver through the defense. When Agustin Restu, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 77 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Victorio Vincente was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A collision led to Salto getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Rene Osmundo hit a great ball. After 80 played minutes Salto got a freekick which was hit by Rene Osmundo. In the 81st minute, Reynaldo Admon sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Salto's Victorio Vincente didn't even have to move. Feliberto Laurentzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Gervasio Ascencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gervasio Ascencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Laurentzi in the 86th minute of the match. Zapiola AFC's Agustin Restu got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victorio Madaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Vincente having to interfere. In the 93rdth minute of the game Victorio Madaleno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salto's Victorio Vincente was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Salto were victorious despite being under pressure from Zapiola AFC for much of the match.
