Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Maximo Donio got the match started through his kick off. After 2 played minutes Salto got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Cordera. Feliberto Laurentzi charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliberto Laurentzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Feliberto Laurentzi hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute Rafael Chico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Tono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute Maximo Donio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorio Vincente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Chico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Tono having to interfere. Nicanor Tono made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Feliberto Laurentzi sent off a good shot on target. Nicanor Tono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Chico, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute, Genaro Elizardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Maximo Donio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octavio Froila struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Victorio Vincente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Castillo. Maximo Donio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Victorio Vincente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliberto Laurentzi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nicanor Tono firmly grabbed it by the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafael Chico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Salto's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Donio came free, but Victorio Vincente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Castillo were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Salto's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Celestino Su took the corner. The corner led Castillo's Celestino Su to fire away a dangerous shot which Victorio Vincente despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Rafael Chico came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Salto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Chico couldn't finish the play. Castillo's Nicanor Tono played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Chico in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Castillo's Genaro Elizardo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Feliberto Laurentzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Nicanor Tono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rafael Chico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
