Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Victorio Etxekopar kicked off to start the match. Ernesto Calvino was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 6th minute. Cienega's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of Yuquerí AFC booed when Cienega was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualterio Gamus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ezequiel Chale hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 13th minute by Ernesto Calvino got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Jimeno Salvadore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ubaldo Maxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Etxekopar in the 21st minute of play. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yuquerí AFC's goalkeeper Mariano Barros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Victorio Etxekopar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Victorio Etxekopar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yuquerí AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorio Etxekopar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaldo Maxin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victorio Etxekopar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Cleto Quico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ubaldo Maxin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Etxekopar in the 54th minute of play forced Cienega's goalkeeper Ubaldo Maxin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reynaldo Lobo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Mariano Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Calvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reynaldo Lobo got free with Ubaldo Maxin in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ubaldo Maxin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorio Etxekopar in the 72nd minute of the match. Reynaldo Lobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ubaldo Maxin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Cienega fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Cienega were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
