Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Victorio Etxekopar took the kick off in the first half of the match. Reynaldo Lobo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albano Egoi kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Yuquerí AFC's zone, Jonas Niguel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariano Barros came out of the goal and Jonas Niguel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Yuquerí AFC's Mariano Barros got control of the ball when Jonas Niguel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Reynaldo Lobo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Generoso Bordat having to make a save. In the 21st match minute, Tatón AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Etxeberri to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorio Etxekopar in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Generoso Bordat saved Tatón AFC from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Casimiro Argenis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 45 minutes, Isidoro Weather managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tatón AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Weather was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Isidoro Weather came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Tatón AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Weather couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After some careless play in the Yuquerí AFC defense, Jonas Niguel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mariano Barros. The Yuquerí AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mariano Barros should have stopped the shot. Reynaldo Lobo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Generoso Bordat made a huge save. In the 59th minute Jonas Niguel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victorio Etxekopar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Weather in the 64th minute of play forced Yuquerí AFC's goalkeeper Mariano Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Tatón AFC's goalkeeper Generoso Bordat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reynaldo Lobo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isidoro Weather in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mariano Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 76 minutes, Reynaldo Lobo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yuquerí AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Lobo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonas Niguel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Barros having to interfere. If Isidoro Weather had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Niguel in the 86th minute of the match. If Reynaldo Lobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
