The referee ignored Marini's protests and gave Ermegildo Joseph a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Silverio Gelmiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cecilio Oton kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Apolo Erramu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a little luck, Marini's Gabriel Xabat got control of the ball when Silverio Gelmiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Apolo Erramu in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Xabat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute, Abel James got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 53 minutes into the game, Angel Tiniebra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marini's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belgrano FC the free kick. When Belgrano FC's Apolo Erramu in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marini's goalie prevented a goal. Gabriel Xabat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Erramu in the 56th minute of the match. Apolo Erramu might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Xabat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Apolo Erramu ran back to his position shaking his head. When Belgrano FC's Apolo Erramu in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marini's goalie prevented a goal. Vicente Lore charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vicente Lore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Erramu in the 75th minute of play forced Marini's goalkeeper Gabriel Xabat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hermengildo Bautista was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Angel Tiniebra capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Angel Tiniebra really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Gabriel Xabat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Erramu in the 84th minute of the match. A collision led to Marini getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Camilo Cordarell hit a great ball. Apolo Erramu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Belgrano FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
