Cayetano Delfino was a little too slow when Cleto Santiago got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 19th minute, Isidro Eutor made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Dolfo. CHICAGO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 22nd minute Isidro Eutor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Dolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CHICAGO's Samuel Dolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Montez in the 31st minute of play. Pascual Nevada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isidro Eutor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romulo Segio struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Cayetano Delfino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CHICAGO. Salto's Cayetano Delfino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Segio in the 44th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Nicolas Orzaize's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Samuel Dolfo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. During the 59th minute of the match Prospero Venceslas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Prospero Venceslas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. With a little luck, CHICAGO's Samuel Dolfo got control of the ball when Domingos Montez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Salto's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Segio came free, but Cayetano Delfino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CHICAGO's Samuel Dolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Eutor in the 74th minute of play. After having played for 78 minutes, Romulo Segio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CHICAGO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romulo Segio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the game, Romulo Segio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Cayetano Delfino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Romulo Segio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cleto Santiago scored 4-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cayetano Delfino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
