Genaro Orixe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Sal having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Hilario Mino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Llisca FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Hugo Endura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Hilario Mino made a precise shot to the right of Modesto Ihazintu. Sumamao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The supporters of Llisca FC booed when Sumamao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Montrelle didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Mino in the 25th minute of play forced Sumamao's goalkeeper Modesto Ihazintu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Modesto Ihazintu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Endura in the 29th minute of play. Leonardo Sal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Orixe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Endura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute of the match, Genaro Orixe tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leonardo Sal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Llisca FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Samuel Firmo hit a great ball. Juan Cordero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Leonardo Sal made a huge save. Miguel Restu got his second yellow card in the match during the 41st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Miguel Restu kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44thth minute of the game Genaro Orixe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Llisca FC's Leonardo Sal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Llisca FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Hilario Mino made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Sumamao defense, Samuel Firmo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Modesto Ihazintu. The Sumamao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Modesto Ihazintu should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Juan Cordero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonardo Sal was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 64th minute, Samuel Firmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute Juan Cordero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Sal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Cordero might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonardo Sal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Cordero ran back to his position shaking his head. Genaro Orixe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Leonardo Sal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genaro Orixe might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonardo Sal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Genaro Orixe ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Llisca FC's goalkeeper Leonardo Sal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hilario Mino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Modesto Ihazintu made a huge save. A hard shot by Claudio Munio from long distance, 93 minutes into the match, got Modesto Ihazintu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Genaro Orixe struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Leonardo Sal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sumamao. The Sumamao supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Llisca FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Llisca FC.
