Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 2 minutes, Flavio Quexal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sumamao and the Caldera FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd minute, Flavio Quexal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amado Ramone recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benicio Primeiro's late challenge caught a Caldera FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benicio Primeiro helped the player get up and apologised. Benicio Primeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. During the 16th minute of the match Flavio Quexal completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Flavio Quexal a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Sumamao getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Flavio Quexal hit a great ball. Modesto Ihazintu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Malvin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amado Ramone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Modesto Ihazintu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Juan Cordero came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Sumamao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Cordero couldn't finish the play. If Juan Cordero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caldera FC's Teofilo Malvin got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sumamao's Modesto Ihazintu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Ramone in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Sumamao booed when Caldera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Frascuelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute, Juan Cordero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sumamao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Teofilo Malvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the game, Juan Cordero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sumamao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caldera FC the free kick. A collision led to Sumamao getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Juan Cordero hit a great ball. Modesto Ihazintu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Ramone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Juan Cordero made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Sumamao's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Frascuelo came free, but Modesto Ihazintu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sumamao booed when Caldera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Cerilo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caldera FC's Prudencio Oihenarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Cordero in the 59th minute of play. Caldera FC's Amado Ramone got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan Cordero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prudencio Oihenarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Urtsin, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Teofilo Malvin sped through Sumamao's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Modesto Ihazintu. After 70 played minutes Caldera FC got a freekick which was hit by Adan Cerilo. After a defensive mix-up in Sumamao's zone, Teofilo Malvin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Ihazintu came out of the goal and Teofilo Malvin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prudencio Oihenarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Cordero, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. A collision led to Sumamao getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Genaro Orixe hit a great ball. Modesto Ihazintu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teofilo Malvin in the 83rd minute. Sumamao's Modesto Ihazintu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Ramone in the 85th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Teofilo Malvin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caldera FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Malvin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Modesto Ihazintu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teofilo Malvin struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Modesto Ihazintu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caldera FC. Teofilo Malvin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Modesto Ihazintu having to make a save.
