After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Ernesto Joachim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarandí AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Joachim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Froilan Mambru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saul Piearres charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saul Piearres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Saul Piearres kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Joachim in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. After the first half Sarandí AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Froilan Mambru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Joachim, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Santiago Ruy's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Froilan Mambru skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Froilan Mambru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Joachim in the 73rd minute of play. Sarandí AFC's Ernesto Joachim got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Froilan Mambru managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Sarandí AFC's Santiago Ruy fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 80th minute, Ciriaco Endura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santiago Ruy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Mambru having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Paolo Stanislao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Froilan Mambru was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Ernesto Joachim capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ernesto Joachim really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Aristides Senio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eriberto Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play.
