The wind increased when Severiano Indar made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Recreo's zone, Severiano Indar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Placido Pueblo came out of the goal and Severiano Indar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfonso Mendiko might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Placido Pueblo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfonso Mendiko ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 68th minute, Adolfo Alfonso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Severiano Indar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Placido Pueblo was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Primitivo Rosario hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Alfonso Mendiko took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Placido Pueblo. Motoque's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
