Urbano Mark might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elias Ranolfo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Urbano Mark ran back to his position shaking his head. After 8 minutes of play, Tabaquillo's Urbano Mark made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elias Ranolfo was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Bilbo in the 14th minute of play forced Tabaquillo's goalkeeper Albano Guillelmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timoteo Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timoteo Sanchez got free with Albano Guillelmo in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christian Berasko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Guillelmo having to interfere. Melquiades Tuste was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Esther:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tabaquillo:s goal. Atilano Marz took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elias Ranolfo. Elias Ranolfo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Julian Santxol hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the game, Esther's Timoteo Sanchez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albano Guillelmo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 35th minute, Urbano Mark got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Zacarias Larra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Esther's zone, Zacarias Larra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Ranolfo came out of the goal and Zacarias Larra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd match minute, Esther was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Berasko to maneuver through the defense. Elias Ranolfo came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tabaquillo's Urbano Mark. But to his dismay, Urbano Mark quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timoteo Sanchez made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Timoteo Sanchez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esther's supporters rose to their feet, but Timoteo Sanchez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albano Guillelmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Urbano Mark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Elias Ranolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timoteo Sanchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Albano Guillelmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anacleto Teofilio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Guillelmo having to interfere. Elias Ranolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Mark, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Elias Ranolfo made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Zacarias Larra sent off a good shot on target. Zacarias Larra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Elias Ranolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 81 in the game by Zacarias Larra from a close distance when the talented Elias Ranolfo managed to make a qualified save. Esther's players were relieved. Zacarias Larra struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Elias Ranolfo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tabaquillo. Elias Ranolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Mark, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After some careless play in the Esther defense, Teo Abadia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elias Ranolfo. The Esther fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elias Ranolfo should have stopped the shot. The Tabaquillo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tabaquillo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
