Cayetano Goren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Ermengol was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lorenzo Cordarell showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Leopoldo Florin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Sotero, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Lorenzo Cordarell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Juan Ermengol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erasmo Matthew blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leopoldo Florin having to make a save. In the 30th minute Cayetano Goren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Florin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Esther's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Goren came free, but Leopoldo Florin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esther's goalkeeper Leopoldo Florin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th match minute, Esther was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Cordarell to maneuver through the defense. When Lorenzo Cordarell fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esther's protests and gave Lorenzo Cordarell a yellow card for diving instead. After 50 minutes, Fernando Koldo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esther and the Segurola AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fernando Koldo hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Gaudencio Berriotxoa, 52 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cayetano Goren to strike the kick off in the second half. Armando Lamberto kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Erasmo Matthew's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Leopoldo Florin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Esther's Leopoldo Florin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Goren in the 66th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Erasmo Matthew managed to get in a good position for a shot. Segurola AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Erasmo Matthew was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leopoldo Florin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute Cayetano Goren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Florin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esther's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Cordarell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Matthew fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Florin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Goren in the 77th minute of play forced Esther's goalkeeper Leopoldo Florin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Esther's goalkeeper Leopoldo Florin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erasmo Matthew. If Erasmo Matthew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Cayetano Goren kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leopoldo Florin. That made the score 1-1 in the 84 minute of play. Erasmo Matthews short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Leopoldo Florin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Cayetano Goren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leopoldo Florin was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Esther defense, Erasmo Matthew kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leopoldo Florin. The Esther fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leopoldo Florin should have stopped the shot. After having played for 98 minutes, Lorenzo Cordarell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esther's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Cordarell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 99 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Cordarell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Juan Ermengol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Segurola AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Esther from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
