If Abelardo Claris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 14 minutes, Gogo Bertin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nelson and the Cipoletti AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bonifacio Mikeldi charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bonifacio Mikeldi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match had been going on for 17 minutes, Cipoletti AFC's Jacobo Dolcet got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Modesto Bitxintxo. Gogo Bertin kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Jacobo Dolcet shot from long distance in the 23rd minute, but Modesto Bitxintxo was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Modesto Bitxintxo was a little too slow when Gaspar Peru got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 2-0. If Abelardo Claris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Cipoletti AFC's Gaspar Peru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Modesto Bitxintxo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Cipoletti AFC booed when Nelson was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto Hernando didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Nelson's goalkeeper Modesto Bitxintxo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaspar Peru. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Modesto Bitxintxo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltasar Galoer got free with Modesto Bitxintxo in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaspar Peru made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Peru in the 53rd minute of play forced Nelson's goalkeeper Modesto Bitxintxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Modesto Bitxintxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Galoer in the 55th minute of play. Gogo Bertin hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Baltasar Galoer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rosendo Teofilio fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nelson's protests and gave Rosendo Teofilio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 59th minute, Rosendo Teofilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute of the match Jacobo Dolcet shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Modesto Bitxintxo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute Baltasar Galoer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Bitxintxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Baltasar Galoer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaspar Peru in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Modesto Bitxintxo saved Nelson from getting behind. Cecilio Vergaray charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cecilio Vergaray the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cipoletti AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Cecilio Vergaray hit a great ball. Abelardo Claris struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Osvaldo Filipo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nelson. After 76th play minutes Abelardo Claris shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Osvaldo Filipo and just under the crossbar into goal. If Gaspar Peru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cipoletti AFC booed when Nelson was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Rius didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 85 minutes, Gaspar Peru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cipoletti AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaspar Peru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaspar Peru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Bitxintxo having to interfere. Modesto Bitxintxo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltasar Galoer, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Cipoletti AFC's goalkeeper Osvaldo Filipo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abelardo Claris. Cipoletti AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Nelson for a fine match.
