But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geronimo Polentzi couldn't finish the play. Faustino Chale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 17 minutes into the game, when Florencio Honrio put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Pinto FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La Scaloneta:s goal. The referee gave La Scaloneta a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Geronimo Polentzi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pinto FC's Tomas Claus. 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 23rd minute by Geronimo Polentzi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Hernan Primo came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Pinto FC fans jumped to their feet. Pinto FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Scaloneta the free kick. Albino Behe kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Sérgio Busquets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Claus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Scaloneta's Natalio Chayo got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Geronimo Polentzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Erling Håland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Claus having to interfere. Ruben Gonza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Tomas Claus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute Geronimo Polentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Claus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Natalio Chayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Claus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Chayo in the 84th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Erling Håland put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tomas Claus. Tomas Claus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Gonza, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After having played for 93 minutes, Hernan Primo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pinto FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernan Primo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Pinto FC defense, Faustino Chale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomas Claus. The Pinto FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomas Claus should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. La Scaloneta fully deserved thier win.
