The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Maju in the 3rd minute of play forced Moldes's goalkeeper Niceto Asier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Cayetano Grabiel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arroyito AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cayetano Grabiel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niceto Asier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th minute, Juan Urbes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute of the match Eustacio Bras shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niceto Asier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Juan Urbes kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Niceto Asier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Grabiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. If Cayetano Grabiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 minutes, Erasmo Gonzalez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arroyito AFC and the Moldes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paolo Kinsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Argider having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Gabriel Rosario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the game, Arroyito AFC's Benjamin Maju nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niceto Asier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Benjamin Maju had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Arroyito AFC's zone, Evelio Berdoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorino Argider came out of the goal and Evelio Berdoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Moldes players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Arroyito AFC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin Maju stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Maju hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rdth minute of the game Paolo Kinsen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arroyito AFC's Victorino Argider was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Mino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Moldes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arroyito AFC the free kick. Reynaldo Mino kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Cayetano Grabiel in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Niceto Asier, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 59 minutes into the match, Moldes's Paolo Kinsen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victorino Argider narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cayetano Grabiel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Niceto Asier made a huge save. Victorino Argider showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Kinsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
