Enrique Tono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Epifanio Sansone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 40 minutes, Fabricio Mederi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Naschel AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabricio Mederi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The attack was good, but when Primitivo Berart in the 43rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The Naschel AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Castellanos AFC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Primitivo Berart made a kick off. Augusto Garaile charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto Garaile the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Castellanos AFC booed when Naschel AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Garaile didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inocencio Perez's late challenge caught a Naschel AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inocencio Perez was shown his second yellow card after 58 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 59th match minute, Castellanos AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Perez to maneuver through the defense. Enrique Tono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Sansone having to interfere.
