With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niceto Rexino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Niceto Rexino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Eguntsenti, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When Iker Santana fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chelco FC's protests and gave Iker Santana a yellow card for diving instead. Iker Santana hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Cesar Hermelando fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 31st minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Niceto Rexino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Hermelando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florencio Eguntsenti struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Niceto Rexino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malabrigo. A collision led to Chelco FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Aristides Urti hit a great ball. Niceto Rexino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Jakes in the 39th minute of the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Cesar Hermelando shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niceto Rexino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florencio Eguntsenti in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niceto Rexino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 46 minutes, Tiburcio Alvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malabrigo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiburcio Alvarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florencio Eguntsenti was the one to do the kick off. Celedonio Guib sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florencio Eguntsenti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Niceto Rexino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Florencio Eguntsenti might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niceto Rexino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florencio Eguntsenti ran back to his position shaking his head. Niceto Rexino made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Florencio Eguntsenti sent off a good shot on target. Florencio Eguntsentis short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Niceto Rexino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Niceto Rexino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florencio Eguntsenti's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Florencio Eguntsenti received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Niceto Rexino came out and tried to block the shot, but Florencio Eguntsenti slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 80th minute. When Lisandro Onbera came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Malabrigo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lisandro Onbera couldn't finish the play. Niceto Rexino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florencio Eguntsenti went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Florencio Eguntsenti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niceto Rexino was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. A collision led to Malabrigo getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Lisandro Onbera hit a great ball.
