Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Arnoldo Marquez made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the game, Augusto Lorenz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Darwin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bouwer the free kick. The supporters of Bouwer booed when Darwin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Lorenz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonides Tercero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Hondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 played minutes Bouwer got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Estebano. Darwin's Camilo Mosen got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cecilio Iraunkor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Leonides Tercero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Hondo in the 26th minute of play forced Bouwer's goalkeeper Leonides Tercero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camilo Mosen got free with Leonides Tercero in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the match, Bouwer's Gaspar Chuse sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uriel Viviano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Victorino Suarez fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bouwer's protests and gave Victorino Suarez a yellow card for diving instead. Froilan Fagondo charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Froilan Fagondo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Bouwer got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Fagondo. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Freddy Hondo was the one to do the kick off. Placido Frederik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th match minute, Darwin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Frederik to maneuver through the defense. Uriel Viviano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnoldo Marquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Uriel Viviano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. When Ovidio Ubelteso fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 80th minute, Freddy Hondo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Darwin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Camilo Mosen might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonides Tercero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Camilo Mosen ran back to his position shaking his head. When Froilan Fagondo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. In the 93rd minute, Froilan Fagondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Darwin's Ruperto Artaldo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 94th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bouwer. Arnoldo Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
